Sand and more sand

Last week's adventure helped us to get our toes in the sand...

lots...

and lots...

And lots of sand.

"Cooking" in the microwave proved to be a highlight of the trip... One of the main attractions of Corpus Christi.
Anybody up for a nuked goldfish cracker?

But we spent most of our time on the beach,

and even spent a few days roughing it on at North Padre National Seashore.

The seashore provided endless entertainment,

even for Lina.

Working on her sea legs..

Discovering mud. (Lots of it in her mouth too).

She was a happy little camper.

And did her part to help us load up and bring some of the that seashore sand home with us.

At North Padre there were lots of crabs and seaweed and shells and more...

By the time we were done, everyone was tired, sandy, and ready to go home.

I love the pictures of Lina. Katelin and Seth both look like they are ready to get for home in that last picture.
