A couple of weekends ago, we finally saw some rain. My kids were giddy.
Two weeks later, the grass is greener, the trees are taller, flowers are in bloom. It is amazing what one rainstorm can do.
It's strange, I have lots of memories of adults talking about drought conditions as a kid, but I have never seen a drought like this one. Or maybe I just see drought differently through adult eyes.
I'm just hoping we can break out the rainboots again, really soon.
