Five!

Somedays I wish I could freeze time and watch Katelin forever dressing up and twirling in my living room. With her birthday just past, I'm realizing again, that there is no freezing time. With kindergarten knocking at our door, the carefree days of running around in a ballerina costume are coming to an end. I'm quite certain that I am not ready to let her grow up, but nobody asked me so it just keeps happening. In the meantime, I'm trying to remind myself to just enjoy it.

Oh to be five again...

A day in the sunshine.

Katelin's birthday cake of choice: A pink sparkly treasure chest with gold and jewels.

Running around at the sprinkler park. Note the missing bottom tooth (that is now growing in). Another sign that she is soon going to be a "big" kid.

I feel your pain. I dread the kiddo's growing up! I wish I could freeze time too!

Did you make that cake? It looks amazing. What a fun idea. Wow heading for school and a missing tooth!!

She really is getting so big. I love that picture of her twirling around.

Where are you going my little one, little one? Where are you going, my baby my own? Turn around and you're three, turn around and you're four, turn around and you're a young girl going out of the door.

Just hug them often and let them grow up in a home of peace and love.
